LESSON SET OVERVIEW

With this lesson set, your students will:

  • read an article with tips on dealing with stress, 
  • discuss stress-relief ideas,
  • learn and practise the vocabulary on the topic,
  • watch a video about a breathing relaxation technique,
  • practise phrases to talk about relaxation techniques.

The set lets students talk about tips to deal with stress as well as explore various ideas on how to calm down and relax quickly.

Is a stress-free life possible?

General Lifestyle

At home, students read an article about ways to reduce stress. In the lesson, they discuss the most common sources of stress, create phrases to talk about the topic (e.g. be calm, handle stress), and exchange tips on how to deal with stress.

The power of breathing

General Lifestyle

Students discuss situations that make people anxious and talk about how breathing can help. They also talk about breathing correctly and watch a video about a breathing technique for relaxation. Students work with useful phrases (feel anxious, pay attention to, etc.) and brainstorm more relaxation techniques.

Is there a minimum subscription period if I choose a monthly subscription?

No, there's no minimum required number of subscription months. You can cancel any time you want. Basically, you can sign up and then cancel your subscription the next day, which will mean you have access for 1 month and won't be charged again.

How can I edit an e-lesson plan?

You can get your own editable copy of an e-lesson plan and make changes to it. To do so, either (1) make a copy of it on your Google Drive (preferable method) or (2) download it in a Powerpoint format (but formatting might be a bit off so we can’t guarantee that it will work well).
