NEWS SUMMARY

NASA’s Artemis II mission, planned for February 2026, will send four astronauts around the far side of the Moon for the first time in over 50 years. Along with the crew, more than 1.5 million names from people around the world will travel on a microchip inside the Orion spacecraft. Anyone can take part by submitting their name online and receiving a digital boarding pass. The mission will test key technology for future Moon landings and help prepare for deeper space exploration, including missions to Mars.
