With this lesson set, your students will:

  • revise second, third and mixed conditionals;
  • practise conditional phrases,
  • discuss inventions and their influence on people’s lives and the world,
  • talk about survival skills,
  • watch parts of two videos on inventions and a video about CPR. 

With this set, students practise conditional structures. In the first lesson, students use different conditional sentences to talk about inventions. They also watch videos about inventions. In the second lesson, students use conditional phrases to create conditional sentences.

What if it had never been invented?

Students discuss the impact of inventions while revising conditional structures. They recall the rules of creating conditional sentences and talk about the inventions in the videos using target language. They also talk about most recent inventions and failed inventions.

Survival skills we need to know

General Grammar

Students learn and practise conditional phrases (e.g. supposing, provided that, should you ever) and further practise different conditional sentences. They talk about survival skills, CPR and bushcraft. Students will use conditional sentences in ex. 7 and 8 (slides 22-25).

Is there a minimum subscription period if I choose a monthly subscription?

No, there's no minimum required number of subscription months. You can cancel any time you want. Basically, you can sign up and then cancel your subscription the next day, which will mean you have access for 1 month and won't be charged again.

How can I edit an e-lesson plan?

You can get your own editable copy of an e-lesson plan and make changes to it. To do so, either (1) make a copy of it on your Google Drive (preferable method) or (2) download it in a Powerpoint format (but formatting might be a bit off so we can’t guarantee that it will work well).
