LESSON SET OVERVIEW

With this lesson set, your students will:

  • learn and practise Present Continuous,
  • explain what people are doing,
  • discuss and describe people in photos,
  • practise clothing vocabulary,
  • learn to use the verbs wear, hold and carry,
  • watch an ad and talk about the people in it.

In the first lesson, students are introduced to Present Continuous while talking about what some people are doing. Students study the tense use, meaning and form. In the second lesson, students learn clothing vocabulary and use Present Continuous to talk about what people in photos are wearing, holding and carrying.Ā
