LESSON SET OVERVIEW

With this lesson set, your students will:

  • review will and would for present and past habits,
  • watch a video featuring the collectable toy Labubu,
  • talk about toys from a critical perspective,
  • discuss habits related to shopping or fashion.

With this lesson set, students talk about habits using will and would. In the first lesson, they cover the context of toys and toys in the past. Depending on the second lesson you choose, students will either discuss fashion and habits related to it or talk about shopping habits and shopping addiction.

Students discuss how addictive shopping can be and what the signs of shopping addiction are. They watch a video featuring a neuroscientist and talk about breaking patterns. Encourage students to use will and would for habits in ex. 6 and ex. 7 (slides 14-17).

Lifestyle

Students define the word ‘fashion’ and share their fashion choices and habits. They also discuss quotes about different facets of fashion and fashion industry. Encourage students to use will and would for habits in ex. 1 and ex. 2 (slides 3-10).

How can I edit an e-lesson plan?

You can get your own editable copy of an e-lesson plan and make changes to it. To do so, either (1) make a copy of it on your Google Drive (preferable method) or (2) download it in a Powerpoint format (but formatting might be a bit off so we can’t guarantee that it will work well).
