Google has launched a new learning platform called Google Skills, bringing together nearly 3,000 online courses and labs in one place. It’s designed to help students, professionals and companies develop the AI and cloud skills they need for the future of work. The platform features new AI-powered learning tools, including Gemini Code Assist, as well as gamified elements such as badges, achievements and learning streaks. Companies can also assign courses and labs to their teams and use leaderboards to encourage a little friendly competition. Google has also partnered with the financial services company Jack Henry to connect certified learners directly with job opportunities.
