With this lesson set, your students will:

  • learn and practise the phrases for agreeing and disagreeing,
  • talk about modern gadgets,
  • improve speaking skills and use phrases for agreeing and disagreeing while talking about one of the following subjects: nature, gifts, kids and tech or job perks

This lesson set is designed not only to teach students how to agree and disagree with each other but also to have more practice while discussing a topic of your choice.

Technology

In the first lesson of this set, students learn the phrases for agreeing and disagreeing (e.g. Exactly, I’m not so sure about it, You’re right,). They also talk about smart gadgets and work in groups or pairs to complete tasks.

This lesson on motivation and job perks helps students practise the target phrases through discussing quotes in ex. 2 (slide 6) and talking about statements in ex. 4 (slide 10). You can also encourage students to use the phrases while doing ex. 11 (slide 23) in pairs.

Lifestyle

Students discuss gift giving, watch a video about a birthday gift and learn verbs and adjectives to use with the word ‘gift'. To practise the phrases for agreeing and disagreeing, students do ex. 3 (slide 11) and ex. 6 (slide 18).

This lesson about kids and technology offers a variety of activities: students share memories, watch a video and discuss tips. They can also practise the phrases from Lesson 1 when working in pairs and answering questions in ex. 2 (slide 5), discussing the best age for activities in ex. 6 (slide 12) and agreeing with statements in ex. 7 (slide 14).

Is there a minimum subscription period if I choose a monthly subscription?

No, there's no minimum required number of subscription months. You can cancel any time you want. Basically, you can sign up and then cancel your subscription the next day, which will mean you have access for 1 month and won't be charged again.

Our default currency is USD (American dollar), but you can also pay in EUR (euro), GBP (British pound sterling) or PLN (Polish zloty). You can change the currency you want to pay in at the Pricing page before selecting a subscription plan.

How can I edit an e-lesson plan?

You can get your own editable copy of an e-lesson plan and make changes to it. To do so, either (1) make a copy of it on your Google Drive (preferable method) or (2) download it in a Powerpoint format (but formatting might be a bit off so we can’t guarantee that it will work well).
