NEWS SUMMARY
As the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina came to an end, the BBC published a collection of striking photographs from the Games and compared them to famous works of art. From an infrared image of a Ukrainian luger that looks like a futuristic painting, to a South Korean snowboarder ‘floating’ looking like a Jackson Pollock artwork, the photos show athletes as if they were part of a gallery exhibition.
