What is the Revision Tasks Generator?
It’s an AI tool you can use to generate tasks for any ESL Brains lesson. Standard, Speaking, Flipped, CRC or Vocabulary Lab? A1 or C2? The tool will help you with all ESL Brains lesson plans! Depending on the language introduced in the lesson, you can generate a vocabulary, grammar or functional language revision task.
Where to find the Revision Tasks Generator?
Look for the purple button with the magic wand 🪄 under the lesson overview, next to e-lesson and pdf buttons. Click the button to generate the revision task for the lesson.
If you know which lesson or lessons you need revision tasks for, or want to generate tasks for more than one lesson at the same time, choose the button in the top right corner of the menu.
This is where you’ll be able to choose up to three lessons and AI will generate tasks for each of them at the same time.
You can choose to opt out of a task, for instance when you only want your students to revise grammar and not vocabulary from a lesson.
How to modify and download the tasks?
Once the task has been generated, it can be re-generated, manually edited, copied to clipboard and exported as a pdf (either with or without the answer key). For all these actions, use the buttons provided: for all tasks, use the buttons at the top of the page; for one task only, use the buttons next to the task.
Remember, the revision is generated by AI, so please review the tasks before giving them to your students!
What are the tasks?
So far, two types of tasks are available: gap filling (to revise vocabulary and functional language) and correcting mistakes (to revise grammar)
