LESSON SET OVERVIEW

With this lesson set, your students will:

learn and practise seasons and weather vocabulary,
practise asking about and describing the weather,
learn and practise clothes vocabulary,
practise listening comprehension,
learn functional language for clothes shopping.

This set combines two topics: weather and clothing. Students learn vocabulary to talk about seasons and weather in various countries, as well as the clothes people wear in different types of weather and when travelling to different destinations.

Teach students seasons and weather vocabulary

What’s the weather like?

General

Students learn the names of seasons, and various weather words (e.g. sun, cloud, wind). They also practise using adjectives (e.g. sunny, cloudy, windy), as well as asking and answering the question What's the weather like...?. Students also watch a video about the weather in Bali, and talk about the weather in different places.
