As always, September was a busy month for us at ESL Brains…🏃♀️
We hit the academic ground running and published new lesson plans on all kinds of topics, ranging from Research & Development 🔬 to gender stereotypes ⚧️, and even ethical dilemmas in science! 🧬

In this Flipped lesson, A2 students practise vocabulary to talk about physical appearance. They watch a video on women’s self-image, explore filler words, and debate self-image and beauty standards. - Gen Z’s penchant for sad music
With this CRC lesson, C1 students discuss Gen Z’s preference for sad music and learn useful vocabulary for the topic. They talk about changes in music trends, analyse comments, and share opinions. - Past Simple activities
A2 students review Past Simple! They practise the pronunciation of verb endings, work on the verb ‘be’ , and revise regular and irregular verbs. They play a game and complete short stories using past forms.
