LESSON SET OVERVIEW

With this lesson set, your students will:

learn how to use Past Continuous,
compare Past Simple and Past Continuous,
practise using the two tenses in a controlled and free way,
watch a funny ad,
come up with excuses,
talk about posh and fancy things and places.

In the first lesson, students learn how to use Past Continuous and Past Simple. They practise them by creating excuses for people in difficult situations. In the second lesson, students further practise the two tenses by creating stories set in posh places.
