With this lesson set, your students will:
Doing both lessons allows you to teach students to form questions, see them being used in real life and practise them in fun ways.

Each lesson in the set is also a standalone lesson.
Students talk about a famous game ‘Who am I’ and learn how to form different questions in Present Simple and Past Simple. After students practise creating questions and watch a video with the rules, they try playing the game themselves.
Students talk about celebrities, watch and discuss an interview, and practise creating questions in Present Simple and Past Simple. They also learn useful phrases to answer questions (e.g. Let me think and That’s a good question!). Students consolidate their knowledge when they do role play and interview each other in ex. 12 (slide 32).

In the first lesson of the set, students learn verbs related to money and vocabulary to talk about spending money. They also compare costs of living. In the second lesson, students practise the vocabulary further while talking about shopping.

In the first lesson of the set, students revise past simple irregular verb forms and use them to tell a story from the video. In the second lesson, they do a set of activities focused on practising Past Simple through speaking.

In the first lesson, students revise adjectives and learn how to use them in order while talking about personal objects. In the second lesson, they learn and use more adjectives to talk about clothes.
3 lessons
Students learn how to talk about homes and describe the rooms. They also practice grammar while discussing topics related to renting flats.

Students learn the differences between Present Perfect and Past Simple while doing various activities and discussing interesting topics.

In the first lesson, students learn vocabulary to talk about holiday accommodation. They also write a hotel review. In the second lesson, they practise functional language for hotel situations using the vocabulary from the first lesson.

In the first lesson, students learn the differences between the two tenses and talk about life experiences. In the second lesson, they practise the use of the tenses through role-plays.

In the first lesson, students discuss different food and cuisines while learning food-related vocabulary. In the second lesson, students talk about their attitude towards cooking, their experience and about being a chef using the vocabulary from the first lesson.

In the first lesson, students talk about travelling in general. As a second lesson, choose Lesson 2A to practise collocations; choose Lesson 2B to compare countries; or choose Lesson 2C to practise language useful when travelling by plane.
