I really like this lesson. This is a good (and very appropriate) challenge for A1 students, and a nice review for the more advanced students. It can be difficult to find lessons like this that work for groups of varying levels…thank you!

Thank you for the lesson! I have a question about a homework activity. In the text we can read that Hugo has a black cat, and later the text says that he is white. Is this a mistake or my misunderstanding?

    1. Ewa

You’re absolutely right, thanks for spotting that! We’ve fixed it now.

Hello and thank you for creating this wonderful lesson!
What would be the correct form of citing this lesson plan?
    Is this correct?

Hi! Thanks for your kind words 🙂
You’ll find my surname here. Otherwise the reference looks OK.

Great lesson! In exercise 11 there is a question about Eric’s dog, but it isn’t mentioned, just to point it out! love esl brains!!

Thanks, I really appreciate it 🙂
Eric’s sister’s dog is mentioned in the recording in ex. 8 (and students are asked about it in point A). In ex. 11, students are supposed to correct ‘Eric’s dog’ to ‘his sister’s dog’. Hope this helps!
