Let’s summarise what happened on ESL Brains in August and list the lesson plans we created as they might turn out to be your lifesavers in these first weeks after the break!  

  • We published 6 lesson plans in total in both printable and digital versions 🖥️
  • Two new authors, Leanne Moody and Kasia Wiącek, joined the ESL Brains team 💚

  • Trees – an essential part of cities 
    In this lesson, students talk about the important role of trees in urban areas, answer multiple choice questions and learn (advanced) collocations and expressions related to the topic of green cities.

  • Mastering small talk
    Make students practise their listening skills, learn several phrasal verbs and sharpen their small talk skills through a series of speaking activities.
  • Never stop learning (sequence adverbs)
    In this A2 lesson, students discover several expressions with the verb learn and talk about their learning experiences using sequence adverbs.
  • Unusual ways of using food 
    Talk about foodscape design and teach your students several food idioms through a series of written and oral exercises.
